Chermayeff & Geismar

Lecture by Ivan Chermayeff
Sponsored by the Graphic Design Department, Philadelphia College of Art, 1986
The letters "C" and "G" were used to communicate the different functions of Chermayeff & Geismar. Chermayeff, more of the artist, was treated as a work by hand, whereas Geismar, the master of corporate identity, was treated as an abstract symbol integrated with geometry.
